Brainiac book club week 5 - Read Montague

Listen

Neuroscientist Dr. Read Montague is the authour of Your Brain is (Almost) Perfect: How We Make Decisions. This week on the Brainiac Book Club, he offers in depth insight on the symmetric dopamine system in our brain we hear so much about that influences our decision making.

Montague also discusses how we judge scenarios and make choices in the moment. This complex activity occurs from an integrated combination of the brain models that we construct from our lived experiences and the data we take in from the environment and process through such models.
