On this final episode of the summer, you'll hear several of our favourite listener calls, and host Grant Lawrence getting the goods from:
*Dana Miese, a man who has taken on the challenge of walking the entire length of the Trans Canada Trail, all 22,000 kilometres of it. Along the way, he's faced just about every challenge imaginable, including lots of animals. But you may be surprised which ones cause him the most grief.
*A woman whose trip to Africa included being violently swarmed by a troop of monkeys.
*A couple whose fateful decision to eat marshmallows INSIDE their tent lead to a grizzly bear being on top of them.
We've played a lot of great Canadian music over the summer, and you can listen to the entire Wild Side Playlist here.
And if you have any great wilderness photography, feel free to post it to our Facebook page The Wild Side with Grant Lawrence. That's where you can see many photos from our stories this season.
The final episode of The Wild Side for the summer of 2012 can be hear on Tuesday August 28 at 11:30am and every Friday August 31 at 7:30pm on CBC Radio One.
If you missed any of our shows this summer, they are all available on podcast.
