Kruger Pension Proposal REJECTED
Kruger has announced that a proposal with regard to pension plans at Corner Brook Pulp and Paper has been REJECTED.

Kruger was looking for more time to repay unfunded liability in the mill's pension plans. But one group of pension plan members, unionized workers, have voted 54 percent against the proposal.
Kruger says it will now reassess the viability of Corner Brook Pulp and Paper's operations. CBC is following this story and will have more information as it becomes available.
