<p>How would you feel if your eight-year old child was placed in a school supply closet as a form of punishment? </font><font style="FONT-SIZE: 0.8em">It happened to Chris and Christine Lee's daughter - and they are livid. But what's more, the Lees say their daughter has been traumatized by the incident, and hasn't returned to Rennie's River Elementary School since it happened two weeks ago. </font><font style="FONT-SIZE: 0.8em">Earlier this week, the Lees had a meeting with the Eastern School District. </font><font style="FONT-SIZE: 0.8em">Those spoke with the CBC's Zach Goudie shortly after that meeting.<!--#include virtual="/contentconnector/embed.html?type=audioclip&id=2384187873&mediaid=2384187743&category=AudioMobile/St_John's_Morning_Show"--></font></p>

<p><font style="FONT-SIZE: 1.21em" size="5"><strong>Regional Economic</strong> <strong>Boards</strong></font></p><font size="4">
<p><font style="FONT-SIZE: 0.8em">It's been about a year since the federal and provicial governments yanked funding from the 20 regional economic development boards in this province. </font><font style="FONT-SIZE: 0.8em">Most of the RED boards have been forced to close their doors.&nbsp; </font><font style="FONT-SIZE: 0.8em">But at least one has found a way to stay open. </font><font style="FONT-SIZE: 0.8em">The North east Avalon Regional Development Board is becoming a self-sustaining not-for profit. </font><font style="FONT-SIZE: 0.8em">Yesterday, the group launched a website to help newcomers settle here. </font><font style="FONT-SIZE: 0.8em">The Morning Show's Caroline Hillier was there and spoke with Executive Director Christine Snow.</font></font><!--#include virtual="/contentconnector/embed.html?type=audioclip&id=2383077393&mediaid=2383077805&category=AudioMobile/St_John's_Morning_Show"--></p><font style="FONT-SIZE: 1.25em" size="4">

<p><font style="FONT-SIZE: 1em">You might not know it, but St. John's is full of Bruce Springsteen fans. They pile into a bar every year at about this time for a local tribute show to the musician known universally as The Boss. Some of the musicians who are part of that show are in the studio with me this morning.
