World Autism Day: Broadcast from the Elaine Dobbin Centre for Autism
|February 2nd has been designated World Autism Awareness Day, when people around the world stop and talk about autism and the impact it has on so many. First declared by the UN in 2007, this is the first year Canada officially marks the occasion. The Morning Show takes a trip to the Elaine Dobbin Centre for Autism located behind the Janeway/Health Sciences Centre. Anthony Germain and Zach Goudie spend an hour there meeting some people who work at the centre, as well as some of the people whose lives have been profoundly affected by autism.
