Eastern Health confidentiality breaches
| Five employees at Eastern Health have been fired for breaching patient confidentiality. Colleen Weeks, a nurse at the health authority, is one of those who received a termination notice. She tells the CBC’s Amy Stoodley her side of the story. Following that Anthony speaks with Vickie Kaminski, president and ceo of Eastern Health.

Bell Island ferry downtime
| A lot of money is being sunk into repairing one of the ferries servicing Bell Island… but is it enough to keep it afloat? The MV Beaumont Hamel isn’t spending much time on the tickle these days, ever since May when the ferry smashed into a dock, puncturing the hull. Even though $500,000 in repairs was poured into the vessel it has been out of service twice since then, including Wednesday due to an electrical issue. Kelly Russell, a resident of Bell Island , talks with Anthony about the ongoing transportation woes.

Forest fire prevention
| The sunny weather we’ve been experiencing this summer has been appreciated… but it does mean it’s been a rough time for fires in the province.
