Adam Gopnik is a bestselling author, cultural observer, essayist, and staff writer with The New Yorker.  He has written about everything under the sun, including art, history, sports, and food.  As this year's CBC Massey Lecturer, he will be tackling that most Canadian of subjects: winter.
