What's Shelagh Rogers reading?

Before interviewing an author, Shelagh reads his or her latest book. The Next Chapter is a weekly show, with several interviews per show, so ... that means Shelagh reads a LOT of books!

Here's what she's got on the go right now. You can expect to hear these authors on the show later in the season...

Shelagh - so much appreciated your thoughtful interview with Mavis Gallant - I can still hear in her voice the Mavis for two decades ago who came to meet with my student at Mabou School - she so encouraged young writers- and even responded to them when they sent their writings to her. have a fine photograph of her sitting very straight in an antique chair doing a reading at an evening event in Mabou as well.
I am still dismayed that your program is at such a poor time - it conflicts with the opera - we have so little left on CBC of intellectual substance that it is inappropriate to have two of those programs at the same time. Miss you on the morning - Jim St.Clair
