You lost me at two seconds in when I realized you were talking to a woman who has commercialized everything from doorknobs, breast cancer, and now, motherhood.

Literature in Canada is in the commercial toilet.

Where is the room on the CBC for the Canadian writer who is captures life as honestly as possible: not as commercially viable...

I know I expected more from this Canadian focused show... oh, well, at least the off button is close at hand.

Sorry to hear that Debbie Travis isn't your cup of tea. For some commercially un-viable work, you might lend your ears to our ongoing exploration of (post-)modern Canadian poetry.
