Canadians needing assistance (government assistance numbers)

If you are a Canadian in Haiti in need of assistance, you are encouraged to visit the Canadian Embassy in Port-au-Prince on Delmas Road. You can also reach the embassy in Port-au-Prince by calling 613-996-8885.

For consular assistance, contact the Emergency Operation Centre or call 613-988-8885. You are encouraged to call collect. The Operations Centre of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Friend and family of Canadian citizens believed to be in the affected areas should contact Foreign Affairs Emergency Operation Centre in Ottawa at 1-800-387-3124, 613-943-1055 or email sosinternationl@gc.ca.
