"I'd like to thank CBC and your help in bringing this story to the public quickly - you did a great job. It generated lots of public and media attention, and very timely...it most certainly struck a nerve. Someone from the President's Office of Rogers called. They will credit me for all back charges for text received and they will honour the free incoming text received per the signed service agreement.

I can only hope that there is enough negative exposure and public outcry that Rogers and other wireless providers will re-think how they conduct business and treat their customers."

In a perfect world guys like Pressman would never exist, however through the concerted efforts of the rest of us, we can achieve restitution and most definitely have direct influence the over the future actions of these types of individuals.

My daughter and I have been working directly with the Competition Bureau doing telephone interviews and corresponding on e-mail. Just like your interest in our story, they too have picked up on this and are in the beginnings of launching an investigation."
