Search The National

We recently added a 'Search The National' module to our site. This new function allows you to search by keyword for content exclusive to The National's website, including our in depth reports, recurring segments (Go Public, Wendy Mesley, Rex Murphy and At Issue), our blog entries, and virtually all other content published on The National site. You can still search the entire CBC website by using the global search tool in the top navigation bar on our web pages and throughout the cbc.ca site. And for video only, head to The National's section of cbc.ca/video.
Accessing our In Depth & Analysis content
In
an effort to centralize our content into one location, we have
integrated our Archive into our In Depth & Analysis landing page.
This means you can now find all of our in depth reports, and our At
Issue, Rex Murphy, Wendy Mesley and Go Public pages through the In Depth
& Analysis tab on our navigation bar. Once there, you can easily
view the most recent episodes, as well as access the full archives of
these segments back to 2009.
As well, in order to decrease the loading time for the
content-rich pages on our sits, we have moved some
of our older content onto subpages within the In Depth & Analysis
section of our site. In most cases, you will find our 2011 and 2010
episodes on the landing pages, and be able to navigate to material from
2009 and earlier via the blue links at the top and bottom of each page.
A new look for CBCNews.ca
And in case you haven't heard, the CBC News site
has recently undergone a major redesign. It boasts a fresh new look,
more breaking and local news, multimedia content, and an exciting new
mobile news app designed to deliver the news when and where you want it
via your smartphone or mobile device. You can read more about the new
CBC News website and apps here.
The team here at The National website is always looking for ways to improve the site, and have some other changes and updates in store for you in the coming weeks. If you have any suggestions on how we can make The National's website a better online experience, please let us know by posting your suggestion to this webpage.
