Wi-Fi: Should we be worried?

Download Flash Player to view this content.
It is invisible - but it's everywhere.  It's in the workplace, in cafes, libraries, throughout buildings, even entire cities, and maybe it's in your home.  Wi-Fi - wireless radio high frequency signals - connects us to the internet through a network of routers.  Many schools are using Wi-Fi, too, and some parents want it out, saying it's unsafe for students.  Our Ioanna Roumeliotis investigates the claims and the science about Wi-Fi.

We want you to watch her report, and tell us what you think by posting a comment to this page.  Should we be worried about Wi-Fi?  Are you?

Watch Heath Canada's response to this report (September 9, 2010).
