Anatomy of the Jaffer case
- April 13, 2010 5:21 PM |
- By Bonnie Brown
The National presents a special investigation into what happened in the
crucial hours after former MP Rahim Jaffer was stopped by the
police that led the Crown to drop the charges against him for
speeding, impaired driving, and cocaine possession.
As we know now, a deal was reached that included a guilty plea from Jaffer to careless driving, a $500 fine, and a $500 charitable donation, with no criminal record.
We want to know what you think of how the Jaffer case was resolved, given the new information disclosed on our program on Tuesday night. Was justice denied, or was it served? Post a comment to this web page.
