It's Your Question Period

Just because Parliament is prorogued until March doesn't mean that federal political debate has stopped.  In fact, The National is committed to keeping it going, and we want your help.

Specifically, we want to hear from you about what federal issues you'd like to know more about or have debated.  Give us our marching orders, and we'll get the facts and as much accountability from our politicians as we possibly can, and report back each week on the program.

To start participating, please go to the Your Question Period page at cbcnews.pov.  That's where you can submit your ideas, read others, and vote for your favourites.  Each week, The National will feature a story on our program, and our At Issue panel will weigh in, as well.

And there's more.  Evan Solomon and our colleagues at Power & Politics on CBC News Network will be adding their take each week on the selected story, and our Inside Politics blog will get in on the action, too.

So check back on The National site over the coming weeks.  We'll keep you posted on the progress of Your Question Period.
