Kim Brunhuber

Kim Brunhuber

During his career, Kim Brunhuber has dodged bullets in Sierra Leone, reported on suicide bombings in Kabul, Afghanistan, and defied death threats to report for the CBC on ritual killings.

He started as a producer for CBC Radio in Ottawa, and since has been based in Halifax, Montreal, Calgary and Toronto.

Brunhuber's news stories have been broadcast around the globe, and his articles, columns and photographs have appeared in newspapers and magazines in Canada, the U.S. and South Africa. An accomplished video journalist, Brunhuber has also travelled to every continent except Antarctica to shoot and edit projects for radio, television and the internet.

His novel, Kameleon Man, was a finalist for two awards, and his writing appeared in a recent anthology of the best black Canadian writing. He's now hard at work on his second novel.

In addition to his love of literature, Brunhuber is an incurable sports addict. When he's not writing, you can find him on the court, in the ring, on the pitch, or on the slopes.

Born in Montreal, Brunhuber has a bachelor's degree and master's degree in journalism from Carleton University.
