Details of the cuts emerge
A week after the government tabled its majority budget, we are now starting to
see the fallout of what 5.2-billion dollars in cuts will look like. Jobs will be
cut in all departments. 11-hundred at National Defence, 840 at Health Canada,
650 at the CBC. And the list will get longer over the coming weeks. How will
Budget 2012 change Canada's landscape? Elizabeth May, leader of the Green Party,
and Gary Corbett, the President of the Professional Institute of the Public
Service of Canada, are here to discuss.
