Thomas Mulcair (CP,Frank Gunn).jpg At the end of a long day, NDP members chose Thomas Mulcair as their new leader. The Quebec MP succeeds Jack Layton, and will now sit across from Prime Minister Stephen Harper in the House of Commons as the leader of the Official Opposition.
