The role of religion in Canadian foreign affairs
It's been billed by some as a future central plank of Canadian foreign policy. Yet the federal government's plan to set up an Office of Religious Freedom has been clothed in secrecy. CBC News has learned, the Canadian government will be holding closed-door consultations with religious groups and academics about the office next week.
