Senator James Cowan, the leader of the opposition in the Senate, is calling on the auditor general to conduct a comprehensive audit of the expenses of the Prime Minister's Office in light of Nigel Wright's $90,000 cheque to Senator Mike Duffy.
Cowan is also calling on the Senate's internal economy committee to discuss Senator Pamela Wallin's expenses in public when they meet again next week.
Wallin's audit is expected to be completed some time in the summer months.
