October 6, 2012 -- This week on The House, Evan Solomon spoke to Treasury Board President Tony Clement. The minister agreed to take part in the program for the first time since Budget 2012 was initially tabled last March.
Among other things, we asked Clement why the federal government was refusing to turn over information with respect to the savings and reduction measures contained in the budget? The Parliamentary Budget Officer Kevin Page has been requesting that information since April and now he has, once again, asked federal officials in 56 departments to turn over that information, or risk legal action.
