Forever young

Who ages better - men or women? This week, fit and funny female Teresa Pavlinek (The Jane Show) tries to prove to well-aged wit, John Wing (Just for Laughs), that when it comes to spots, sags and senility, females come out on top.
Next up on our double bill of laughs and logic, funnyman Dean Jenkinson tries to put a crack in computer game nut, Tim Nutt's argument that video games teach important life skills.
As always The Debaters has topics for young old.
So pry yourself away from your Playstation, let go of your joystick and tune in. Saturday at 11:30 am and Monday at 8:30 pm on CBC Radio One.

The Long and Short of It.

Does a short man have any business dating a tall woman? This week, The statuesque Karen O’Keefe tries to prove to vertically challenged comedian, Scott Faulconbridge, that tall women should always ‘overlook’ short men. Also on our double bill of laughs and logic, Caribbean Canadian Gilson Lubin and South Asian Canadian Ali Rizvi go toe to toe on the topic of multiculturalism and whether visible minorities becoming the majority in Canada is going to be a good thing. Yes, The Debaters is celebrating Canada’s diversity and we prove yet again that no matter your colour or your height, you’ll always have a place on our show – as long as you’re funny and as long as you can reach the microphone. The show airs Saturday at 11:30 am and Monday at 8:30 pm on Radio One.
