Oh, Canada!
For Canada Day The Debaters asks the question: Are Goose and Beaver as powerful as Eagle and Uncle Sam? The Debaters is in Ottawa this week as American ex-pat, DeAnne Smith, tries to prove to comic Pete Zedlacher that Canada’s symbols beat the American ones by a country kilometre.
Next up, Toronto funnyman Dan Redican is on a mission to convince freedom of speech advocate Darren Frost that our society could use a little more censorship.
As usual The Debaters delivers completely uncensored radio comedy. And if you have a problem with that, well, you can just “shut the front door.” That’s The Debaters this Wednesday at 11:30 on CBC Radio One.
