Part Two of The Current
Osama bin Laden Killing - Benjamin Ferencz
U.S. President Barack Obama might not want to hear it, but there are people who don't buy the argument that killing Osama bin Laden was right. Benjamin Ferencz is one of them. He was an American prosecutor at the Nazi war crimes trials in Nuremberg after World War Two and he believes that the killing of Osama bin Laden may have been unjustified and - possibly - illegal. Benjamin Ferencz was in New Rochelle, New York.
Osama bin Laden Killing - Michael Newton
Michael Newton takes a very different view of the killing of Osama bin Laden. He teaches law at Vanderbuilt University in Tennessee. He was the international law advisor to the Iraqi High Tribunal in the prosecution of Saddam Hussein. And he has negotiated war crimes parameters for the International Criminal Court. Michael Newton's most recent book is Enemy of the State: The Trial and Execution of Saddam Hussein. He was in Nashville, Tennessee.
