You don't have to look very far to find problems in the world ... war, human rights abuses, environmental devastation, financial disaster. Trying to solve even one of those problems can seem intimidating.

But Parag Khanna thinks he has a way of solving them all. He's a Senior Research Fellow at The New America Foundation. He was part of the foreign policy advisory group for Barack Obama's Presidential campaign. And he has been named by Esquire Magazine as one of the 75 most influential people of the 21st century.

Parag Khanna's new book is How to Run the World: Charting a Course to the Next Renaissance. He was in our Toronto studio.
