PART TWO

Music From The Sanctuary - Documentary

Mikhail Lennikov has been living in the church for more than a-year-and-a-half. He came to the church seeking sanctuary in June of 2009 after he was ordered deported from Canada back to Russia. Mikhail Lennikov was a captain with the KGB - the former Soviet Union's notorious secret police. And during his time in sanctuary, he says he has rediscovered something he thought he had lost something that has given him a sense of freedom he can't find anywhere else. The Current's Ellen Saenger produced Mikhail Lennikov's story in her documentary, Music From The Sanctuary.
