Danny Williams

We started this segment with a clip from Danny Williams. Yesterday morning, after two terms as the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador and ten years in politics, he announced his resignation. Premier Williams will step down a week from today. He joined us from St. John's.

Love him or not ... most would agree that Danny Williams has been a colourful character while advocating for his province's interests since becoming premier of Newfoundland and Labrador seven years ago. We ended this segment with his bit from the CBC's This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
