A life long resident of Windsor, Bob enjoyed a long career as a touring musician before joining the CBC in 1987.

A chance encounter with the producer of the local morning program led to an offer to provide a weekly entertainment column. That, in turn, led to other opportunities at the CBC culminating in his current position as host of the afternoon program, "The Bridge".

During that time Bob has acted as a reporter, writer broadcaster, producer and relief anchor of Television news.

Bob says the best thing about working for CBC News is the variety. Each day bringing a new story to tell and opportunities to tell them in new ways.
