People have been talking a lot about a "Great Gray Owl" spotted near Kingsville. I'll talk with an expert to find out why he's here.
If you've traveled to Kingsville lately, you may have noticed a bird that looks out of place.
It's a "Great Gray Owl" and it's not hard to find... all you need to do is look for the swarm of people that have been following its every move since it was first spotted at Christmas.
The bird is the largest Owl on the planet, native to the far north and is rarely seen South of Timmins. To find out more about the bird and why it's here, some 700 km from it's natural habitat, we've got Dr. Dan Mennill in the studio this afternoon.
Dr. Mennill is an Ornithologist at the University of Windsor.
