OTTAWA -- Today's rally in support of "net neutrality" drew a crowd of about 300 to Parliament Hill to hear speeches from supporters and politicians.
The big news at the rally was an announcement from Charlie Angus that the NDP will introduce a private member's bill tomorrow that would enshrine certain net neutrality principles and prevent ISPs from taking control of the internet.
(CBCnews.ca's Peter Nowak is in Ottawa for Tuesday's net neutrality rally. At issue are the actions of big ISPs that have been slowing down the internet speeds of customers using certain applications, such as peer-to-peer software used for file sharing.)

I knew if I lived long enough the NDP would do something I agreed with.
