To Err is Human
Today on Tapestry we're looking at the upside of getting it wrong. We all know that to err is human, but for some the fear of making a mistake can lead to a diminished experience of life. We'll talk to celebrated Canadian designer Bruce Mau about the importance of making friends with failure. And we'll hear from research professor Brene Brown, author of The Gifts of Imperfection. For the past decade she has been exploring the role of shame, empathy, vulnerability and authenticity, and it's brought her a unique understanding of imperfection.
Also, Giller Prize-winning novelist Johanna Skibsrud and her pick for our Sound Track for the Soul.
