Barbara Brown Taylor has been a cashier, cheese-packer, horseback- riding instructor, an Avon lady, a nursing-unit clerk, cocktail waitress, secretary, newspaper reporter, an editor, a pastor, preacher - and now, professor. Professor Brown Taylor says not one of her jobs has been any more sacred than any other.
