Tapestry Goes to Heaven
If there is a heaven, what might it look like? Sound like? Taste like? Through documentaries, interviews, movies and music, we’re exploring the idea of the sweet hereafter. From 14th century Florence to 21st century Hollywood, vison of an afterlife have always captured the imagination.
We'll explore the vision of heaven in Dante's Paradiso, the third and final part of The Divine Comedy with Dante scholars Robert Hollander and Jean Hollander. Their new translation of Paradiso is published by Doubleday.
We'll also bring you a documentary by award-winning broadcaster Wanita Bates. Wanita's is a personal exploration of how people perceive heaven.
