In The Storyteller, Dan Yashinsky remembers what took place in the intensive care unit of a hospital in the weeks following his son's birth. Jacob was born with an undiagnosed condition, and seemed to hover between life and death. Dan, who is a story-teller by profession, decided to talk to his tiny son, to sing to him, and to tell him stories. In this beautifully-rendered documentary produced by freelance broadcaster Ines Colabrese, Dan comes to understand the power of stories to touch our very souls.

And, Rick Phillips of Sound Advice joins Mary Hynes to take Tapestry listeners through The Resurrection, Gustav Mahler's great second symphony. Every philosopher, religious thinker and spiritual seeker throughout human history, has struggled with the existential questions: What does it mean to live? What does it mean to die?
