Guest-host Robert Harris talks with Bill Henderson, the author of Simple Gifts: One Man's Search for Grace. Henderson grew up in a Christian household, but was driven away from the church by the fire and brimstone of the sermons he heard as a child.

Later in life, a chance encounter with a hymn moved and lifted his spirit, and brought him back to the church. Today, he finds community and joy through the singing of old-fashioned hymns every Sunday. Bill and Robert talk about the stories behind two of them; A Gift to be Simple, and Amazing Grace.
