All around the world, there's something about Mary. But in the Bible, there is little written about the woman called the Mother of God. How did someone barely mentioned in the bible become the icon she is today? Mary Hynes speaks with Miri Rubin, author of Mother of God: A History of the Virgin Mary, published by Yale University Press.

Don Wright is a military chaplain at CFB Petawawa. His job is to provide spiritual guidance and support to his community. Ottawa Network Producer Jen Beard recently met with Don to find out how he is using theatre as a tool to help family and friends of soldiers in Afghanistan cope with the realities of war. Don Wright's play, Freeze Dried Tomatoes, is being performed on June 14, as part of the Petawawa Civic Centre Days.
