Celebrate 75 years of the Art of Broadcasting: Oct. 1

Join us on Saturday, October 1st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. when we open the doors to CBC Radio at 213 Miles Street East. (Between Simpson and May Streets.)

We're celebrating 75 years of public broadcasting, as well as Culture Days.

Stop by and meet Superior Morning host Lisa Laco and Voyage North host Jordan Lester, along with other CBC personalities.

Take a tour of our newsroom and studios to see how radio is made. You'll have the chance to sit in front of a microphone and record a birthday greeting or share your favourite CBC moment. We have free memory sticks for the first 100 people.

A diverse group of local performers will provide entertainment throughout the day.
Kids can keep active at the Artzooka craft station.
And we'll have draws for CBC merchandise, including special prize packs for the first three 75-year-olds to come through our doors.

Birthday cake and beverages top off the party.
