- Fiona has been the Program Manager at CBC Radio in Sudbury since May of 2010.
- She started her journalism career at the Timmins Daily Press 21 years ago, then worked as a stringer in Timmins for CBC, before joining the corporation full-time in 1995.
- She's travelled the country with CBC Radio, but is very happy to be back in Northern Ontario.

Things you may not know about Fiona:
- She's very fond of Canadian literature and Canadian music.
- She holds her own at Karaoke, and is a force to be reckoned with at the card table.

- Before that she worked as a video journalist with EastLink TV, while hosting a weekend radio show at KFM in Sudbury.
- She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brock University and a Masters of Arts in Journalism at the University of Western Ontario.
- She was born in Strathroy Ontario, raised on a century farm where her parents still reside.

Things you may not know about Amy:
- At one time, she was a competitive javelin thrower and in fact she beat a current Olympian and represented Canada at the Junior Pan American Games in 2001.
- She played the piano for several years.
- She's travelled to several countries, including Scotland where she lived for a year, and played on the Scottish national volleyball team.

- She was the former managing editor of Northern Life newspaper.
- She has worked as a reporter and editor at community newspapers around Ontario, including the former Wallaceburg News, the Haliburton County Echo, the Thunder Bay Chronicle Journal, as well as Northern Ontario Business.
- She also worked from home as a freelancer, writing columns about workplace issues and parenting topics before her two children started school.
- Wendy graduated from Canadore College in 1993.

Things you may not know about Wendy:
- She used to be a competitive swimmer. She took part in her first sprint triathlon event in 2010.
- Wendy was born in Nipigon, north of Thunder Bay.
- She loves trees and gardening, thanks to the influence of her forester father David, who still lives in Copper Cliff.
- But she loves baking and cooking even more, thanks to the influence of her mother Fran, who died in 2006.
- A final note: Wendy can't stand news stories that read like editorials.

- She's been the afternoon news reader and reporter with CBC Radio in Sudbury for the past year.
- Before that, she spent a lot of time at Tom Davies Square covering city council for Northern Life newspaper.
- She graduated from the Nova Scotia Community College with a diploma in broadcast journalism.
- One of Martha's favourite pastimes is running.

Things you may not know about Martha:
- She was studying to pursue a career in music before honing her radio and journalism skills.
- Martha completed a Bachelor of Music from Acadia University and majored in music history and music theory.
- She then went on to do a year of graduate school at the University of British Columbia, before realizing she was meant to be in broadcasting.
- Though she doesn't play regularly anymore, Martha is an accomplished pianist and has completed her grade 10 Royal Conservatory Exam (there are only 10 grades before you become an associate with the organization). She plans to resume playing the piano once she moves into a bigger apartment.

- She worked in the same building as her husband when they first met - but did not know this at the time.
- She represented the British Columbia show jumping team at the North American Young Riders Championship and spent several years living and competing in Europe.
- Megan can't stand poor radio reception and is still mourning the end of rabbit ears television.

- She reads the news and (tries) to talk giant pumpkins with Markus Schwabe on CBC Radio 1 in Sudbury.
- She was raised in Sudbury, and graduated from LoEllen Park Secondary School with the dubious distinction of "Most Time Spent At Tim Horton's".

Things you may not know about Jessica:
- She went to Midwifery school in Sudbury for half a semester before she realized that she'd have to deliver babies. - Jessica was named after The Allman Brothers Band song from the 1973. Many have inquired as to the name of the song.
- She got her start with the CBC in Yellowknife, where she stayed on a houseboat for a spell until she learned the hard way what a "honey bucket" is.
- Despite years of expensive Royal Conservatory piano instruction, the only song she still knows how to play is the theme song of "The Young & The Restless".
- Despite her fierce loyalty to the CBC, her celebrity news crush remains Lloyd Robertson.
- She never met an exclamation point she liked.

- Before that he worked out west in Prince George, BC, Regina and LaRonge, Saskatchewan.
- He grew up in Regina and graduated from the University of Regina in 1988.
- He has four kids in their teens and twenties.
- His favourite spectator sport is curling.
- He enjoys growing giant pumpkins.

- He met his wife while they were both in a marching band.
- He played a mean clarinet and still honks away on his harmonica.
- After graduating from university Markus spent a summer working at a news agency in London, England.
