As a singer-songwriter and composer, she's touched countless fans, and won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a Gemini and a Governor General's Award along the way. And as a social activist, she has fought hard for the rights of Indigenous people in the Americas, and pushed for a better education system. And our panel features the awesome Mark Little, currently on CBC's Mr. D.

Wednesday, the great Margaret Atwood is in the red chair. She's one of Canada's most important (and most prolific) writers, and she's currently celebrating the fortieth anniversary of a book that helped define Canadian literature. It's called 'Survival,' and its vision of how Canadians write, and why, has been the subject of admiration, debate and a lot of scholarship over the years. House of Anansi Press is reissuing that book, along with a digital release of 'Speeches For Dr. Frankenstein', an illustrated version of an Atwood poem. Our panel features actor and comedian Craig Lauzon of Air Farce.

She's an icon of Canadian music: Rita MacNeil was born in Big Pond, Cape Breton County, and she's done a pretty great job of putting her community on the map. Rita's best known for her many albums of country and folk. She's a had Top 40 hits in North America and the UK, and she hosted 'Rita and Friends' on CBC TV from 1994 to 1997. Her latest album is called 'Saving Grace'. And on our comedy panel, stand-up comedian Darcy Michael brings the laughs.
