Throw a log on the fire, drown yourself in eggnog and turn up this year's festive special.
English-Canadian actor Kim Cattrall is best known for playing Samantha on Sex And The City, and in a recent conversation with George, she talked about the expectations placed on her after the role ended.
"As I've gotten older, the roles have gotten better. That's why going back to the theatre for me has been so important. Doing Sweet Bird Of Youth at the Old Vic [in London] under Kevin Spacey was such an important thing for me to do. And again, a really scary thing, because I'm playing an actress who's considered over the hill. And Hollywood, and film and television... after a certain age, and you don't play that beautiful girl, where do you go?"
In her latest series Sensitive Skin, which will air on The Movie Network and Movie Central, Cattrall plays Davina, a 50-something woman who moves with her husband into a hip condo in cool area in an attempt to stay relevant. Her interview with George airs Monday April 28 on CBC TV.
