Québécois film director and screenwriter Louise Archambault was in the red chair to talk about her new film, Gabrielle.
The film — Canada’s official 2014 submission for the Academy Awards best foreign-language film — is the love story of titular character Gabrielle, a woman with Williams Syndrome.
Archambault says making the film taught her a lot.
"I'm still learning, I guess," she said. "I think we can all learn from one another. Let's say for example Gabrielle, she's so much stronger than I am for emotional intelligence. She's so authentic and true. If she loves, she loves, and if she doesn't she tells you."
