Tickets

TICKETS ARE FREE, but must be reserved in advance. We tape Monday through Thursday, from 4pm to 6pm at the CBC Building, 25 John Street, Toronto. Audience check-in time is 3:15pm unless otherwise noted. Click the "Show Dates" drop-down menu below for a list of upcoming guests. Group ticket requests can be sent directly to georgetickets@cbc.ca

NOTE: Ticket slots are listed below for our Toronto International Film Festival marathon of tapings! Book your tickets now as slots fill up fast. We can't reveal the guests before you arrive, but every day during TIFF is exciting - last year George chatted with amazing guests like Spike Lee, Brian de Palma, Javier Bardem, Kristin Scott Thomas, Marisa Tomei, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Wyclef Jean, among many others!

Please note: Tickets to attend a taping are not guaranteed. You will receive confirmation from our audience department. If any of the information provided is missing or incorrect, we will not be able to process your request.

Age Policy:
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate anyone under the age of 18.

Security Check:
Everyone attending the show must check in at the ticket desk before gaining access to the studio. Please downsize any purses or bags you are bringing with you, and turn off your phone. Recording devices, digital equipment, or sharp objects of any kind are not permitted inside the studio (think airport style security). You may bring your camera in, but don't use it until the show is finished taping! Please use the restroom before going to the show. If we deem you under the influence, unfit, or a threat, you will not be permitted inside the studio. We reserve the right to deny admission at any time, for any reason.

Patience, Young Grasshopper:
"George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight" receives lots of ticket requests. The audience coordinator will get in touch with you about your request as soon as possible. If you don't hear from us, there is a chance we didn't get your request, so give us a call at 416-205-3769. Occasionally our ticket confirmations are sorted to your junk-mail folder, so make sure you check daily.

Cancellation Policy:
Shows can cancel or change at any time. If your show should cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and do our best to reschedule you for another taping without too much inconvenience. Although we will try our best, it may not always be possible to reschedule you for another taping during your visit to Toronto.

The "Canadian Broadcasting Corporation" is located at the corner of Front Street West and John Street in downtown Toronto.

Pay parking lots are located on Front Street at the bottom of John Street and also on Wellington street just north of the CBC building.

How do I know who is going to be on the show?
Guests are listed by date as they're confirmed, but be aware that things can change! It's always best to book the date you want, and be ready for anything - it's all part of the excitement!

What should I wear?
Whatever you would normally wear to go out. The studio can get quite cold, so bring a sweater to keep you warm.

Can I take pictures?
After the taping! Bring your camera and someone will let you know when it's okay to take photos. Never while the cameras are rolling or the guest is in the chair.

Can I get a photo with George?
George is occasionally available for photographs, but we can't guarantee that you'll get one.

Will I meet the celebrity guests?
Unfortunately not -- guests are in-and-out of the CBC very quickly.

How many times can I come to a taping?
As often as you like. All tickets are free of charge.

If I need to cancel my tickets, whom do I contact?

How far in advance can I request tickets?
Tickets can be requested as soon as they are posted on the ticket page (www.cbc.ca/strombo/tickets.html). If you don't see the date you'd like to attend, please e-mail: georgetickets@cbc.ca.

Can I bring a group of people?
Group bookings can be made up to 45 tickets. These special requests can be made directly to: georgetickets@cbc.ca

Do you have an age restriction?
Everyone who attends "George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight" must be 18+.

When will I get my ticket?
Confirmation is e-mailed to the account you provided when you requested tickets. We do not hand out physical tickets and you check-in under your name at the ticket desk on the day of the show.
