Will human beings one day be able to upload our consciousnesses into a digital environment and continue existing after our physical bodies die? It's not completely out of the realm of possibility - for instance, Russian media mogul Dmitry Itskov is working on building a disembodied human consciousness within a holographic host in the next 30 years. But as social media and technology expert Tom Scott suggests in this video, there could be a potential downside to a digital afterlife.
