Crazy Rube Goldberg Machine Made From Kids’ Toy

Can your bedroom do this? 21-year-old Austin Granger of St. Paul, Minnesota, spent 8 months building this ball machine out of K'NEX, a kid's building toy.

It's called Clockwork, and it's been a labour of love for Austin.

The structure is made up of over 40,000 pieces and it stretches over 450 feet of track. It features a computer-controlled crane that can carry up to five balls at once and automatically correct mechanical errors.

This is not the first time Austin's tried his hands at a large-scale K'NEX track. In fact, he has a blog dedicated to his creations (Austin's K'NEX Designs), and this is the fifth one he's built so far.
