Cutting Together More Than 300 Films From 2012 Into One Epic Trailer

If it's a little hard to follow the plot of the movie in the trailer above, that's because it's not for a single movie. YouTube user genrocks has put together 'Filmography 2012,' a supercut trailer of over 300 movies from the past year.

The trailer is remarkably seamless, moving from drama to comedy and back with neatly integrated voiceover from various films.

And it's not just the good ones, either. As the video description puts it, "here's to the great movies that inspired us and the bad ones that made us feel better about our lives."

It's a great overview of the films that came out this year, and it serves as evidence that a well-cut trailer can make any movie look epic.

Head here for a full list of all the films and music used in the trailer.
