Ch-Check It Out: Librarians Tackle 'Sabotage' by The Beastie Boys

The Spike Jonze-directed video for 'Sabotage' by the Beastie Boys isn't missing much: it's an affectionate and hilarious homage to the openings of '70s TV shows like 'Hawaii Five-O' and 'Starsky and Hutch'.

But if there's anything it could have used more of, it's got to be... Librarians.

Luckily, the good people who work at the library of Francis W. Parker School in Chicago have us covered. They recently remade the video with nothing but librarians in the main roles.

Just like the rough-and-tumble police officers in the original video, the library cops in this one are willing to break the rules to get the job done (a loudspeaker in the library? That's got to be against regulations).

The librarian version of 'Sabotage' is not the only excellent remake of the clip.
