Superheroes Of Rock: Comic Book Characters Take Over Album Covers

Michael Jackson's 'Bad' by Marco D'Alfonso

No word on whether any of these superheroes can actually make music. But they definitely make for a fun twist on some classic album artwork.

These images came out of a regular feature called 'The Line It Is Drawn' on the Comics Should Be Good blog, in which the audience sends in ideas via Twitter based on a theme (a few weeks back, it was "superheroes gone bad").

Depending on what gets Tweeted, the CSBG artists draw up some superhero-themed artwork. And a recent theme was "mash up a comic book character and a famous music album cover!"

Here are some of the results. To see them all, head over to CSBG. And if you'd like to take part in future editions of 'The Line It Is Drawn', you can follow them on Twitter @CSBG.
