Real Madrid Drops Trophy And Bus Runs Over It

What's the last thing you want to have happen to your soccer trophy after winning it for the first time in 18 years? Pretty much this...

After Real Madrid won the Copa del Rey trophy, they had a huge celebration on the streets. And in the midst of it all, one of the players dropped the trophy, only to watch it be run over by a bus.

In the video, you'll see they gather the pieces, and the trophy wasn't seen again for the rest of the night.

But you can't be mad at Sergio Ramos, the player who dropped it,especially after reading his tweet explaining what happened. "The whole thing about the cup was a misunderstanding, it didn't fall," he said. "It jumped off when it reached Cibeles (the fountain in Madrid where the team celebrates its titles) and saw so many Madrid fans."

Yes, apparently the trophy was so happy about the victory, it committed suicide. Sounds reasonable.
