British Spies Replace Bomb-Making Instructions With Cupcake Recipes

Apparently, al-Qaida has launched an online English-language magazine to reach out and try to recruit "lone-wolf" type extremists. To try to stop al-Qaida's efforts, British intelligence agents went all Martha Stewart on their magazine.

The agents hacked into the magazine and took aim at an article titled "Make A Bomb In The Kitchen Of Your Mom" by "The AQ Chef." The hackers replaced the code of that article, with one leading to a web page with recipes for 'The Best Cupcakes in America' - a post from The Ellen DeGeneres show.

So, instead of downloading instructions on how to create a lethal explosive, they got a recipe for a Mojito cupcake.

Brilliant.
