Long Serve The Queen!

How many people do you know who have had the same job for 59 years? Well, The Queen hit an important milestone in her career this week.

No, it wasn't her completion of the tallest free-standing scone structure. She surpassed King George III and became the longest-serving monarch in more than 1,000 years of British history. Only Queen Victoria has served longer - she finally punched out at about 63 and a half years.

If The Queen is still on the throne in September of 2015, she will officially wear the crown... uh, for the longest wearing of the crown.

The Queen, by the way, is 85 years old and has apparently just bought an iPad. Oh, and just so ya know... last month, Prince Charles broke the record for spending the longest time as heir to the throne.
